81 EUCLID SUSPENSION FIELD MANUAL PETERBILT: FLEX AIR Identifiable by the unique curved flex spring visible between the wheels. (PG 22–23) SAF HOLLAND: AD-123 (NEWAY) Identifiable by the long curved equalizer beam assembly. This beam is connected to the opposing equalizer beam by a transverse beam assembly that supports the air springs. (PG 68–69) REAR TRUCK AIR SUSPENSION PETERBILT: AIR TRAC The leaf spring is not attached to the hanger as it slides within the hanger on a wear pad. The torque arm mounts to the hanger immediately below the spring connecting to the axle. (PG 18–19) PETERBILT: AIRGLIDE 210 Identifiable by the shorter hanger with the spring eye bushing mounted to the rear of the hanger. The genuine hanger typically has "Paccar" cast into the part. (PG 20–21) PETERBILT: AIR LEAF Identifiable by the unique mounting method for the spring. There are two bolts that connect the spring to the hanger. The bolts are located below the spring on the Air Leaf and there is no torque arm connecting the hanger to the axle. (PG 16–17)
