PROBLEM:
Thermal cycling on General Motors vehicles pow-
ered by LS engines can cause some manifolds
to warp and others to crack. Milling and welding
damaged manifolds aren't reliable repair options
given the high labor times involved on many of
these cars and trucks.

is made of nodular cast iron, a better class
